The line-up of films at this summer's nautical themed 10th Bestival at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight has been announced.

Taking place from Thursday 5th until Sunday 8th September 2013 the festival's Ambient Forest Amphitheatre transforms late at night into a cinema hosting films with live scores, cult classics, documentaries and short films.

With a theme for each night, Films in the Forest is programmed by the London Short Film Festival and Branchage, with LSFF featuring short films in support of the main features and gourmet popcorn vendors also on hand.

Thursday night's theme is 'Musical Journeys' with London quartet Gum soundtracking the 1916 version of '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea', plus Dave Grohl's 'Sound City' documentary, and Karl Hyde and Kieran Evans' 'The Outer Edges'.

Friday's theme is 'Rapper's Delight' with hip-hop flavours from DJ Woody and his 'Big Fat 90s Mixtape AV Set'plus screenings of 'Beat Street' and a secret film showing a hip-hop don as you've never seen him before.

Saturday is 'Fright Night' with 77 Italian ballet goes bad horror classic 'Suspiria' rescored by Fake Blood, and Sam Raimi's gore-fest 'Evil Dead II'.

Sunday's theme is 'Outsiders' but not the movie of the same name, but non-conformist movie fans can 'stay golden' with a double bill of classics with 'Easy Rider' and David Cronenberg's terrific 'Naked Lunch' ensuring a suitably mind-altering end to the festival.

Rob da Bank said, "The Films in the Forest were such a success last year with people raving to the Chemical Brothers 'Don't Think', right through to scaring the bejesus out of themselves to David Lynch films that we had to repeat it. The films selected this year are just as cool and I'm delighted Fake Blood himself will be doing a horror soundtrack and the hip-hop night looks ace too... see you in the Woods."

Headlined by Elton John and Snoop Dogg and a wealth of musical wonders including MIA, Franz Ferdinand, Wu-Tang Clan, The Flaming Lips, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, The Strypes, Tom Odell, Jagwar Ma,Bastille, any more.
