A raft of Bristol based acts were announced over last weekend for the new ArcTanGent Festival that will takes place from Friday 29th until Sunday 31st August 2013 at Fernhill Farm, Cheddar, in Somerset.

Zun Zun Egui
The 5,000 capacity festival has confirmed Thought Forms, Zun Zun Egui, The Pirate Ship Quintet, The Naturals, Deej Dhariwal, Oliver Wilde, Giant Swan, Anta, Joe Garcia, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Scarlet Rascal & The Trainwreck, Anthroprophh, Spectres, Hysterical Injury, Damien Schneider, RiceBeats, SJ Esau, Vostok, The Mother Beef, The Dagger Brothers, Oxygen Thief, Pohl, Falling Stacks, and Flights.

Co-founder of the new event, James Scarlett, said, "I find the music scene in Bristol incredibly exciting and here at ArcTanGent we've always been keen to ensure our line up reflects this wealth of talent. Obviously there is a rich musical heritage with bands like Portishead, Massive Attack and Tricky, but 2013 really feels like it could be another Year Zero for the Bristol music scene.

"I feel very confident that we've booked the cream of Bristol's music scene and I can't wait for people to check out these bands because they are seriously amazing. They have all been booked on merit and the fact they are from Bristol is just an added bonus for us!"

They join a bill that includes Friday headliner 65daysofstatic, and Saturday headliners Fuck Buttons plus the previously announced Maybeshewill, Brontide, Axes, Among Brothers, The Physics House Band, That Fucking Tank, This Town Needs Guns, Yndi Halda, Castrovalva, Johnny Foreigner, Rolo Tomassi, Tall Ships, Three Trapped Tigers, And So I Watch You From Afar, Islet, You Slut!, Future of the Left, Bo Ningen, Gallops, Turbowolf, Arcane Roots, Blacklisters and Talons.

Tickets are priced at £59. An early entry ticket is priced at £10 (allows entry from 1pm on Thursday 29th August 2013). A child (aged 0 to 10 years old) can attend for free. To buy tickets, click here.
