Joining him on the bill will be Squeeze, KT Tunstall, and Maximo Park who headline the second stage, no other acts announced yet, but expect some local bands to also get a taste of the festival experience as well.

Festival gates open at 12noon with first bands scheduled for 1pm. Festival goers are advised to get there early to avoid queues and to remember that searches are in operation to prevent alcohol being bought onto the site.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 22nd February, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. Prices are same as last year, meaning they will be priced at £37.50, or £27.50 for adult Citycard holders (City of Nottingham resident), a teen aged 11-17 year old ticket is priced at £27.50, or £15 if a Citycard 360 holder (City residents), and all children under 10s have free entry.

Set in the stunning grounds of Wollaton Hall, the festival has grown to become one of the region's biggest music events, attracting around 15,000 people of all ages.

Splendour feature three live music stages, a comedy stage, special entertainment for children, bars, food stalls, fairground rides, kids are and more. There's no camping - the deer won't have it.
