exclusive: first acts announced for Deer Shed Festival

eFestivals can exclusively reveal that Saturday headliner Darwin Deez, plus The Milk, The Unthanks performing - 'Songs From The Shipyards', and Willy Mason are among the first acts announced for North Yorkshire's 'Machines' themed Deer Shed Festival held over the weekend of Friday 19th to Sunday 21st July 2013.

Also confirmed today are Public Service Broadcasting, To Kill A King, Zervas and Pepper, Kitty the Lion, Blue Rose Code, Gaz Coombes, Marconi Union, and Tubular Bells For Two where the whole of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells is performed by Aussies Daniel Holdsworth and Aidan Roberts.

Deer Shed Festival have announced that the fourth installment of the immersive, interactive and imaginative family festival will be Machines and will pull out all the stops to create a mechanical emporium celebrating the workings behind some of the worlds maddest and innovative creations.

The independent festival run by a family for families has a capacity of 6,000 and an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. As well as the music the event offers vintage art and craft stalls, kids tent, outside play area, and more.

Early bird tickets are priced as follows:

An adult (16+) weekend ticket (Fri-Sun) is priced at £79.
Child (aged 6 - 15 years) weekend ticket is priced at £25
Child (aged under 5) weekend ticket is priced at £1
Weekend campervan & caravan pass is priced at £20
All the kids activities and workshops free of charge.
