Pulled Apart By Horses, Kwes, Tall Ships, and Aluna George are amongst the new line-up additions for Cardiff's Swn Festival which takes place from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st October with tickets also going on sale today.

Swn is a four day showcase of some of the best music from Wales and from around the world alongside DJs, film and art, held throughout Cardiff. The event, started by DJ Huw Stephens, takes place in Cardiff this year across the evening of Thursday 18th October and Friday 19th October then through the days and nights of Saturday 21st October and Sunday 21st October, with over 200 bands performing.

The latest acts confirmed also include Beard of Wolves, Black Moth, Bodhi, Casual Sex, Clinigol, Cold Pumas, Cut Ribbons, Dad Rocks, Echo Lake, Eilir Pierce, Fossil Collective, Hawk Eyes, Hud, Ifan Dafydd, Joyce The Librarian, Lleuwen, Osian Howells, Pedestrain, Portasound,Push & Run DJs, Samoans, Splashh, Swnami, Teleman, The Bent Moustache, The Experimental Tropic Blues Band, The Staves, Tom Ap Dan, Toy, Two Wounded Birds, We Are Animal, We Were Evergreen, Without Maps, Y Bandana, Y Lladron, and Yr Angen.

They join the previously announced A Girl Called Ruth, Afro Cluster, Al Lewis, Among Brothers, Arcane Roots, Bo Ningen, Brotherhood Of The Lake, Chain Of Flowers, Charlotte Church, Clock Opera, Death At Sea, Denuo, Django Django, Draw Me Stories, Dry The River, Errors, Eugene Francis Jr, Exit International, Falls, Faye, Feed The Rhino, Fire Season, Fist Of The First Man, Gallops, Gallows, Glass Pear, Golden Fable, Greta Isaac, Gulp, Hey Sholay, Hysterical Injury, Irma Vep, Islet, Jemma Roper, Jewellers, Joanna Gruesome, John Grant, Katell Keineg, Lanterns On The Lake, Laura J Martin, Liars, Manhattan Coast, Marc O'Reilly, Micachu and The Shapes, Milk Maid, Mowbird, Nebula, No Ceremony, No Thee No Ess, Out Of The Woods, Paper Aeroplanes, Peace, PINS, Prosperina, Quiet Marauder, Rangda, Rozi Plain, Rusty Shackle, Sam Airey, Scritti Politti, Sex Hands, Shy And The Fight, Sion Russell Jones, The Adelines, The Ash And The Oak, The Bright Young People, The Invisible, The Knox, The Lovely Eggs, The School, The Vestals, This Many Boyfriends, Tomos Lewis, Torches, Turbowolf, Urban Development Vocal Collective (UDVC), Various Cruelties, Verity Susman, We're No Heroes, and Zervas and Pepper.

The event for over 18s only will feature bands from both Wales and across the world, as well as DJs, film and art. There will be lots of different genres from hip hop to indie, folk, dance and rock. Other events expected at the festival include a silent disco, cinema, workshops, and art exhibitions.

Wristbands grant you free priority access to all of the SWN Festival shows subject to capacity. Basically, get a wristband and get around Cardiff to see as many shows as you can.

An early bird 4-day wristband is priced at £60, a Thursday only wristband is priced at £15, a Friday only wristband is priced at £18, a Saturday only wristband is priced at £26, and a Sunday only wristband is priced at £20. Additionally this year, Sŵn Festival are offering a 10% discount on advance tickets to those who are Unemployed, Students or NHS Staff at the time of their ticket purchase.
