Despite news reports in today's newspapers that Rihanna has cancelled her ten-week stay in the UK, organisers of Wireless Festival have confirmed to eFestivals that Rihanna is still scheduled to perform at Barclaycard Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park taking place over the weekend of Friday 6th until Sunday 8th July 2012.

Newspaper reports state that the 24-year-old singer was due to arrive in the UK yesterday, to appear on a chat show next week, but cancelled her trip and all work commitments in the UK due to ill health. Newspapers speculated this would also mean the Barbadian singer would not be taking to the stage to appear live in the UK this summer.

However her two live appearances here appear to be unaffected, with a spokesperson for Wireless saying, "She (Rihanna) is still scheduled to perform at Barclaycard Wireless Festival."

Rihanna will be headlining Wireless with Barclaycard on the final night, Sunday 8th July one of only two UK performances this year, the other being Radio One's Hackney Weekend.

Also confirmed for that day are Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Labrinth, J. Cole, Rizzle Kicks, Kaskade, Flux Pavilion, Pitbull, Cher Lloyd, Madeon, A$Ap Rocky, Stooshe, Delilah, Theophilus London, and Angel.

Friday headliner is deadmau5, alongside Maverick Sabre, Knife Party, Feed Me, Ms Dynamite, Modestep, Gemini, Jaguar Skills, Childish Gambino, AraabMuzik, and Zedd. Drake will headline Saturday with support from Nicki Minaj, Nero, Example, Wiz Khalifa, Professor Green, Tulisa, Knife Party, The Weeknd, Labrinth, Clement Marfo & the Frontline, Dot Rotten, Chiddy Bang, and Dbanj.
