Echo and the Bunnymen, Cast, and Maroon Town will headline the Godiva Festival, the Midlands' biggest three-day FREE festival running from Friday 29th June until Sunday 1st July 2012.

Echo and the Bunnymen
The ticketless event starts on Friday night with a retro theme and performances from headliners Echo and the Bunnymen supported by 90s favourites Space, Kites, and Warwickshire based Coves.

Also on Friday is 'Godiva Unsigned', which will feature local artists and bands that will get the chance to showcase their talent to a new audience and battle to win the right to open the main stage on Saturday.

On Saturday the main stage will be headlined by Cast with support from The View, The Pigeon Detectives, Russian Gun Dogs, plus local acts.

The Rhythm tent will host Skepta, P Money, Dot Rotten, and local boy and Specials legend Neville Staple (DJ Set).

Sunday winds the festival down with World Music Day with Maroon Town, Off Licence, Soweto Entsha, Aman Hayer, and dhol drummers and dancers.

The Comedy Tent line-up will include Matt Rees, Pippa Evans as Loretta Maine, and Raymond & Mr Timkins Revue, all compered by Jim Smallman.

Also on site will be arts and craft in the Kids Tent, a celebration of history and heritage in the Lives and Times Tent, a mix of eco friendly local and national groups and demonstrations in the Greenspace Tent, Tommy Wilson's Funfair, micro-acoustic stages, roller rink, and more.

Godiva Festival is held annually and attracts over 85,000 people to an eclectic mix of rock, hip-hop, folk, comedy, poetry, and world music. In addition to live musical the free and ticketless event also hosts an annual carnival, a fairground and many more family and community based activities and entertainment.
