Hard Rock Calling announce 18 more acts

Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park has announced 18 more acts added across all three days from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th July 2012.

Joining headliners Soundgarden on the Friday are Black Stone Cherry, Kids in Glass Houses, Skindred, and Life In Film.

Added to Saturday's line-up topped by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are Amy Macdonald, Dawes, Gary Clark Jr., NeedToBreathe, The Night, and Jonathan Wilson.

Sunday's bill topped by Paul Simon also now includes Christina Perri, Big Country, Guillemots, Punch Brothers, Robert Randolph, Robert Ellis, Marlon Roudette, and Marcus Foster.

Complimenting the main stage will be the Hard Rock Rising stage. New to this year's festival, the Hard Rock Rising stage showcases Hard Rock International's connection to the new music scene and commitment to new bands. Bringing new acts to this stafge, Hard Rock asked veteran rockers Van Zandt from The E-Street Band and Dangerfield of Guillemots to curate the Hard Rock Rising stage for a day of the festival.

"It's great to play a role in giving new artists valuable new exposure and the experience of a lifetime at Hard Rock Calling." said Steven Van Zandt. "As someone who has played the festival before, I know there's no stage like it!"

Soundgarden headline Friday with supposrt from Iggy & The Stooges, and Cold Chisel. Bruce Springsteen returns to headline the Saturday night with support from John Fogerty, and Lady Antebellum. Sunday sees Paul Simon performing the album 'Graceland' in its entirety, along with some of his greatest hits. He'll be joined on stage by Jimmy Cliff, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. The established London open air music event showcases well known international acts, and a few legends over three days, has a genuine festival feel to it.

Tickets for Friday are priced at £50. Tickets for Sunday at Hard Rock Calling are on sale priced at £55. Tickets were priced at £60 for Saturday and have sold out.
