The Charlatans lead the line-up announced for the third Strawberry Fields Festival now expanded to three days from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August 2012 at Cattow Farm in Heather, Leicestershire.

This year the Madchester band will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of 'Tellin' Stories' – their number 1 selling iconic, swirling, neo-psychedelic album that defined a generation, and are sure deliver tracks from the album alongside their popular hits in their main stage headlining show.

Also confirmed are Hadouken!, Young Knives, The Last Party, Modern Faces, The Draytones, Bibelots, Black Drummer, By The Rivers, The Dash, missdavinalee, Yours Truly, Buster Shuffle, Kav, Marner Brown, Red n Pink, The Lysergic Suite, The Ghosts, Karova, The Mercanaries, Selective Service, White Powder Gold, The Paradimes, Aaron Delahunty, Headstarts, Jacks Attic, and Move.

Confirmed to appear in the Dance Arena are Friction, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Magikstar, Grooverider, Total Recall b2b Dialogue, DJ Rapid, Smoke, and MCs Magika, Biggie & Nutcracka who will appear on the Reveology Presents stage.

Hype presents FuntCase, Eptic, Dream, Badklaat, Torqux & Twist, and Substantial Error.

Slipmatt tops the Flashback presents line-up that includes Shades Of Rhythm, Nicky Blackmarket, Mistress Mo, and Pilgrim.

Whilst Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, and Sonny Wharton are the first acts confirmed for the host's own curated dance line-up.

There's equal importance on the dance scene with big production and Funktion1 sound coming as standard. There's still more local and national emerging talent to be announced on the many other stages. BBC Introducing acts and quality alternative artists can always be found playing stages such as the Strawberry Jam Stage, the Cocktail Lounge or even in the natural Stone Circle.

Strawberry Fields Festival is one on the fastest growing festivals in the UK. Hidden away in the East Midlands countryside at a place renowned locally for its strawberry picking this festival offers a multi staged line-up of international and local acts.

Adult tickets are priced at £80 and include admission to the whole weekend, 3 nights camping, and free parking. A Family ticket is priced at £180. A teen (and 11 to 16 years) weekend ticket with camping is priced at £60. A child (and 5 to 10 years) weekend ticket with camping is priced at £20. A campervan/caravan pitch ticket is priced at £20. Apart from the quality musical experience, Strawberry Fields Festival hosts a vintage clothes fair (Strawberry Glam), has a fun fair, onsite hair and make-up artists, a theatre production company, pole dancing lessons, a Festaxi service, Healing Zone, and festival glamping in luxury, furnished bell tents.
