The Charlatans will headline the Sunday night at this summer's The Magic Loungeabout according to their website, (here), with more acts also unveiled.

This year the Madchester band will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of 'Tellin' Stories' – their number 1 selling iconic, swirling, neo-psychedelic album that defined a generation, and are sure deliver tracks from the album alongside their popular hits in their Sunday night headlining show.

Also announced are Lets Buy Happiness, and The Loose Salute.

Brand new for 2012 is The Forest Fringe with a line-up featuring Pip Mountjoy, Ligers, John MacKie, Hannah Trigwell, Masks, The Coopers, Damo Jones, and DJ Ben Smith, plus stand up magic with Ian J Lea.

The Supper club Tent (previously The Loungeabout tent) will host DJs helping Yorkshire club Back2Basics celebrate 21 years with their head honcho himself Dave Beer alongside residents Buckley plus and PBR Streetgang, Chris Duckenfield, Frenchy, and Tristan Da Cunha, offering a trip down nostalgia with a nod to the present.

The Food Thought Tent features a Pop Til You Drop night time line-up including DJs Danielle Moore from Crazy P on Friday, Ultimate Power Ballads on Saturday, and Disco Mums on Sunday.

During the day this year's speakers include BBC6Music DJ Stuart Maconie humorist Jon Ronson, Richard Fox, and Bettakultcha will present a series of 5 minute presentations that inspire, inform and entertain. With more still to be announced.

Headlining Friday are Chic featuring Nile Rodgers also confirmed are Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Lucy Rose, Cashier No 9, Jenny O., and Juan Zelada, also confirmed. According to the festival's twitter the rest of the line-up, including Saturday's headliner, will be announced early next week.

This year sees the festival expand with a new stage, more acts, more speakers and bigger capacity. There will also be more fun for kids and adults from Bearded Kitten, and a host of visual arts on display too.

The organisers have chosen to increase the capacity by only 1000 to help retain the carefully cultivated intimacy and escapism of the festival held again at Broughton Hall, Skipton, in Yorkshire from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th July 2012. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £112 and includes camping. Kids must be 12 years or younger on the 27th July 2012 to qualify for a free ticket which they must have for entry. A campervan ticket is priced at £22.50. There is also an installment of 3 payments of £37.34.
