World Music Party Stage line-up revealed for Hungary's Sziget

The original line-up of The Pogues lead the acts to be confirmed for that World Music Party Stage at Hungary's Sziget festival.

Sziget has decided the world music stage should be renamed World Music Party Stage and has picked acts for its line-up that are known to have a good party, they are Goran Bregovic Wedding And Funeral Band, Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra, Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, La Selva Sur, Che Sudaka, Los De Abajo, Figli Di Madre Ignota, Sergent Garcia, Leningrad, Dubioza Kolektiv, Roy Paci & Aretuska, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Rotfront, Labrassbanda, Orchestre National de Barbes, Imam Baildi, HK & Les Saltimbanks, Muchachito Bombo Infierno, Molotov, Narasirato, Quimby, Pannonia All-Stars Ska Orchestra, and Besh o droM.

They join The Stone Roses, Placebo, The XX, LMFAO, Korn, Friendly Fires, Noah And The Whale, The Vaccines, The Horrors, Two Door Cinema Club, Paolo Nutini, Glasvegas, The Ting Tings, Katzenjammer, Flying Lotus, Fink, Anna Calvi, The Subways, Crystal Fighters, Hurts, Magnetic Man, Steve Aoki, Caro Emerald and Bebel Gilberto, with many more still to be announced. Sziget has loads of other things on offer to festival goers, as well as the music, there is; theatre, dance, classical music, cabaret, performances, films, fine art, crafts, literary presentations, programmes for kids, sports and other free time activities.

Sziget Festival takes place on an island in the Danube, Budapest, Hungary from Wednesday 8th to Monday 13th August 2012, with camping available from Monday 6th August.

A week ticket with camping is priced at £165, a 5 Day Pass without camping is priced at £140, and a campervan pass is priced at £110. Beware of false tickets. Buy your ticket only from authorised vendors.

Children aged 10 and under have free entry if accompanied by an adult. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
