Ronnie Wood, Van Morrison, Tom Jones, Robert Cray Band, Hugh Laurie, George Benson, John Hiatt, Eric Bibb, Southside Johnny, Brand New Heavies, Charles Bradley, Gov't Mule, and Mick Taylor have been announced for BluesFest taking place in various venues in London, and new this year Manchester.

The idea of an international celebration of blues and jazz originated from the Marquee Club's enterprising young promoter Harold Pendleton, who played a key role in developing jazz and rock scenes in London, the original festival became a forerunner of today's Reading Festival.

Now in it's second year BluesFest returns to various venues this summer between Tuesday 26th June and Friday 6th July 2012.

The line-up confirmed for London so far is:

26th June: The Robert Cray Band - O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire 27th June: John Hiatt - Under The Bridge; Eric Bibb - O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.
28th June: George Benson - Royal Albert Hall
29th June; Van Morrison - hmv Hammersmith Apollo; Southside Johnny And The Asbury Jukes - O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire; JJ Grey & Mofro - 100 Club
30th June: Ronnie Wood & Friends - hmv Hammersmith Apollo; Brand New Heavies - O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire; Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires - Under The Bridge
1st July: Tom Jones - hmv Hammersmith Apollo
2nd July: Hugh Laurie - hmv Hammersmith Apollo
4th July: Gov't Mule - Under The Bridge
6th July: Mick Taylor & Very Special Guest - Under The Bridge.
