The first names have been announced for the DiS stage at year's Summer Sundae Weekender ahead of tomorrow's big announcement.

This year's line-up has been announced as including Django Django, The Twilight Sad, Hey Sholay, and locals Maybeshewill, with more names still to be confirmed for the Drowned In Sound stage.

They join the first wave of acts for the weekend of Friday 17th until Sunday 19th August 2012 who were Public Image Ltd. (PiL), Katy B, tUnE-yArDs, Asian Dub Foundation, Reverend And The Makers, Willy Mason, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Jonathan Richman, Juan Zelada, Lazy Lester And Friends, Dan Mangan, Rachel Sermanni, Cashier No 9, Goodnight Lenin, Grace Petrie, The Magic Tombolinos, and Y Niwl.

The next raft of acts and exciting developments about the festival will be made tomorrow, Wednesday at 3pm.

The event offers a civilised and relaxed atmosphere, an unwavering ethical standpoint, high production values, a quality range of foods from around the world, 20 cask ales and a mean line in cocktails (all reasonably priced) at four bars throughout the site, not to mention stalls, and high calibre comedy.

Early bird tickets are priced as follows. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £95. A young person (14-17 years) ticket is priced at £60 for the weekend. A child (aged 5-13 years) ticket is priced at £30, and under 5s go for free. An adult day ticket is priced £30 for Friday, and £50 for Saturday or Sunday. Child (aged 5 -15 years old) are priced £12 for Friday, and £15 for Saturday or Sunday.

There's an additional cost for camping tickets which are per person, not per tent. An adult camping ticket is priced at £10, a young person's camping ticket is priced at £7, a child camping ticket is free, and camper vans and caravans tickets are priced at £40 (maximum 5 people).
