eFestivals can exclusively reveal that this year's comedy stage line-up for Blissfields is led by occult 'metalhead' stand-up comic Andrew O'Neill who joins regular guest on 'Big Brother's Bit On The Side' David Morgan, and organizer of the 5-star Edinburgh show 'The Big Comedy Breakfast' Marc Burrows.

The line-up also includes Danny Sutcliffe, Ed Easton, Fern Brady, Owen Niblock, Peter Phillipson, Red Redmond, and compere Ruth E Cockburn complete the announcement, with more names still to be revealed.

The first acts are Imperial Leisure who will headline the opening night, and Subgiant will close the main stage on the Friday night. With The Mini Band, Arp Attack, Bear Cavalry, Big O, Cut Corners, Kill em Dead Cowboy, Little Chief, Live Like Kings, Melodramas, Oresteia, Pussycat & The Dirty Johnsons, Reventure, Sean McGowan, Smokey Bastard, Stinger, Stone Them Crows, The Lost Souls Club, and The Queue. There are no other acts confirmed yet. More of the line-up will be released over the coming weeks, including headliners and more major acts.

Music takes place across five stages: The main open air stage; The Bradley Bubble a Big Top Stage offering mixed entertainment including local acts, open mic and after hours fun; Tractor Disco Stage (DJs) – An open air carnival on a tractor trailer for all day frivolity; The Hidden Hedge - a secluded hideaway in the woods, with chilled atmosphere and secret appearances/performances; and The Campfire which offers acoustic, DIY, and other entertainment.

This year Blissfields will celebrate the world of sport with a full programme of sports day events, a school disco and remember the last day of school. There's the opportunity to represent your House, as well as vote for Head Boy and Head Girl, once again giving fans of the festival another way to be a part of the makings of the event. Although Blissfields will not be strict on the dress code, although they do warn they may have to employ Hall Monitors to make sure you are all upholding the Blissfields reputation.

So, grab your jolly hockey sticks and catch us round the back of the bike shed for the best 'last day of term' style fun you ever had.
