Imperial Leisure, Tellison, Tall Ships, Straight Lines, and The Cape of Good Hope have been revealed as the Thursday acts for the sixth 2000trees happening from Thursday 12th until Saturday 14th July 2012 at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

As is traditional at the festival, the Thursday night line-up is a collection of 2000Tress fans' favourite (and most requested) bands from Trees gone by. Organisers are still waiting on confirmation from the evening's headliner. There are only a couple of hundred tickets left for this early entry night priced at £14.

Founder Andy Rea said: "This is a cracking line-up of bands that have already played storming sets at 2000trees, so they are back by popular demand and we are delighted. They will be joined by a very special headliner - we're just finalising the contract as we speak and we'll announce details as soon as we can."

No other acts have been announced yet. There will be more band announcements in the coming weeks (next Friday to be precise).

Organisers are also giving fans the opportunity to bag Ticket for Life to 2000trees, for more information see the website here.

More than 80 live acts will entertain thousands of music fans for two days of music on four stages, plus comedy, DJs, headphone discos, quality and value food & drink, and a trader village.

Early bird tickets sold out in minutes. A weekend ticket is priced at £66. Children aged 0 to 10 years old can go free but require a ticket and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Early Entry tickets for Thursday are priced at £14. A join ticket with sister festival 'Y-Not' in Derbyshire is priced at £117. Last year's event sold out in advance.
