Tampa metallers Iced Earth, and Brazilian thrashers Sepultura will both be making exclusive UK appearances at this summer's Bloodstock Open Air held from Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th August.

Both acts are added to the Ronnie Dio Main Stage line-up on Friday. Guitarist and sole original member of Iced Earth, Jon Schaffer said, "We are looking forward to returning to Bloodstock in 2012, our second time after 2008. The UK shows we played on our World Dystopia Tour last fall were some of the best on the tour and we cannot wait to bang our heads with the UK minions again!"

They join a line-up that includes the previously confirmed Alice Cooper, Behemoth, Sanctuary, The Black Dahlia Murder, Grand Magus, Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed, Corrosion Of Conformity, Anaal Nathrakh, Watain, Paradise Lost, Anvil, Nile, Mayhem, Orange Goblin, and Doomed. Tickets are priced at £115 for adults, and car parking is priced at £14, campervan passes are priced at £40, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £25, with day tickets expected to be on sale at a later date.

Organisers have also announced a deposit scheme which offers the chance to pay for weekend camping tickets in 3 easy instalments, with an initial payment of £36.25 if purchased before 1st March 2012. The second instalment is due on 31st March, and the third on 30th April.
