Californian three-piece Blink 182 are the latest headliner to be announced for Eden Sessions.

The pop punk legends will headline on Sunday 8th July, 2012, and join a line-up that also includes Plan B playing on the Friday before.

Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker come to Eden following the release of their sixth studio album 'Neighborhoods' last September, their first record since the band split in 2005. The band will showcase tracks from their new album alongside hit singles 'All the Small Things', 'What's My Age Again', 'Adam's Song', and more.

Eden Sessions have become more like a one-day festival, with three stages and acts playing from early afternoon on each day.

Martin Williams, Eden's Marketing Director, said, "Blink-182 are a great coup for the Eden Sessions. The band defined the pop-punk sound of the late nineties and early noughties, mixing catchy guitar hooks with lyrics that tackle serious issues in a humorous way. We're really excited to be part of Blink's return to the top and can't wait to hear them perform songs from their long-awaited new album at Eden."

Tickets will be priced at £35, and will go on sale at at 6pm on Tuesday 31st January when eFestivals will have links for you to buy them. Every Sessions ticket includes entry to Eden on the day of the show or the day after.

The Eden Sessions are now in their eleventh year. The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event.
