From 9am today tickets go on sale for Alfie Boe's brace of forestry commission shows, this summer as part of Forestry Commission Live Music where acts perform in spectacular woodland locations around the country.

The classically trained tenor has had 2 top ten, 'platinum' selling albums, 'Alfie' and 'Bring Him Home' in the last twelve months. Boe has appeared in performances in shows such as 'Les Misérables' in the West End and 'La Bohème' on Broadway. Alfie's forest debut will see him performing from his current albums as well as from classical and proms repertoire.

Alfie Boe plus Orchestra and 'special guest support' will be performing on Friday 13th July at Thetford Forest, near Brandon, in Suffolk, and on Saturday 21st July at Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury, in Gloucestershire.
