The Cure for Hurricane, Southside and Hultsfred

The Cure have announced they will be headlining a string of European Festivals this Summer, with Germany's Hurricane & Southside Festivals and Sweden's Hultsfred Festival.

The Cure last headlined at last summer's Bestival and announced over the weekend they planned a headlining tour of European summer festivals. There have been now UK festival dates announced. More European festival appearances will be announced in the near future, with the band confirming, "much more to come."

Hultsfred Festival takes place at Folkets Park, Hultsfred in Sweden from Thursday 14th until Saturday 16th June 2012. The first acts have been confirmed for the festival's fives stages are The Cure, The Stone Roses, Justice, The Cardigans play Gran Turismo, Noah and the Whale and Future Islands. Early bird four day tickets are priced at 1350 kr (approx £127) with camping, or 1150 kr (approx £108) without camping. To buy tickets click here.

Hurricane Festival takes place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June 2012 in Scheeßel, Lower Saxony, Germany and it's sister event Southside takes place over the same weekend at Take Off Park, Neuhausen ob Eck near Munich.


The line-up is repeated at both events and already includes Blink 182, The Stone Roses, Florence + The Machine, The Kooks, Wolfmother, Bonaparte, Royal Republic, Zebrahead, Rise Against, Die Ärzte, Justice, Sportfreunde Stiller, Broilers, Katzenjammer, LaBrassBanda, Casper, Lagwagon, Hot Water Music, Mad Caddies, Kakkmaddafakka, Kurt Vile & The Violators. Tickets for both twin events are priced at 131 euro including a 10 euro waste deposit which includes parking, and camping, campervan passes.
