Madness are the latest act to announce their participation in this year's The Forestry Commission's 2012 Forest Tours where bands perform each summer in spectacular woodland locations around the country.

Madness
British pop institution Madness plus guests, to be announced, will be performing at Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire on Sunday 24th June.

The ska-rooted nutty boys had a huge haul of hits in the 80'’s going on to spend more weeks on the charts in that decade than any other group. Renowned for their storming outdoor live and festival shows for more than 30 years generation after generation have enjoyed hits like ‘'One Step Beyond'’, '‘Our House'’, ‘'Baggy Trousers’', ‘'Embarrassment', '‘Wings Of A Dove'’, '’House Of Fun'’, '‘My Girl’' and '‘Driving In My Car’'.

Commenting on the show, front man Suggs said, "Since we played last in Westonbirt something strange has been happening down in the west country... the crowds have been going crazy, we can't wait to get back there for even more nutty times."

Tickets will be priced at £36.50 and will go on sale at 9am this Friday, 13th January, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Forestry Commission Live Music pays for itself and any profit generated goes back into improving woodlands for both wildlife and the public to enjoy.
