Organisers have announced the new home for the The Garden Festivals events held in Croatia a little further along the coastline at Tisno. The new site for the events that include The Garden Festival, SunceBeat, Electric Elephant, Soundwave, and Stop Making Sense is located just a short walk around the bay from the small Dalmatian town of Tisno. Tisno part straddles the Croatian mainland and the Island of Murter, linked by a 20m bridge. The town offers a host of restaurants, cafes, apartments and small boutique hotels.

The new site is set in a gently hilly area which overlooks the Garden's very own beautiful bay below, complete with sandy beach. Tisno - split between the mainland and the island of Murter, joined by a 20m rising bridge – is just a ten-minute walk away, situated pretty much right between Zadar and Split airports, which lots of flights from Europe to each.

Within the festival site itself and built up on the hills overlooking the bay is a small onsite apartment village and luxury boutique camping for those who want to be as close to the action as possible. There are also hotels, campsites, apartments and villas and even boats all within close proximity to the festival site.

One of the new developments is that the festival's club venue Barbarellas will now be open to all in an open air location, whilst still playing host to top club nights and promoters each night, and offering a much bigger capacity than the limited indoor club. Barbarellas will be located on the sea front and festival organisers will put on transfers from The Garden Tisno.

Nick Colgan, one of the festival's directors, explained, "We really feel we have found a new home which captures the magic of our original vision but also evolves it a bit too. The Garden Tisno has its very own village, featuring 80 on-site apartments which can hold 300 people, as well as 30 Indian Shikar tents with electric fans and lighting, proper beds, mosquito nets, dressing room and porch area. There are also 120 pitches for people bringing their own tents.

It will also feature the familiar elements everyone knows and loves – twice daily parties on the Argonaughty seadog including sunset trips close to the Kornati Islands, partying around the Main Stage and Tiki Bar day and night and a brand new Barbarellas club.

The entire site runs right along a truly gorgeous shoreline, so dancing right by the glittering waters under the sizzling sun or a moonlit star-speckled sky - classic Garden experiences – remain, helping to keep the festival so unique. And with Funktion 1 across all areas the sound will once more be amazing! Already Tisno really feels like home and we think it will for everyone else too.
