Bjork is the first act to be confirmed for next year's Roskilde Festival in Denmark.

Festival organisers have announced, "We kick off the new festival season with a true 'Roskilde act'. One of the most distinct profiles and an always surprising musician."

There are no acts confirmed yet for next year's four day music festival takes place from Thursday 5th until Sunday 8th July 2012 at Roskilde, in Denmark. For the line-up details as available please click here

Tickets sold out last year, early bird tickets have sold out. Tickets are now priced at 1810 DKK (approx £210) for a weekend ticket, or 920 DKK (approx £105) or a day ticket, and go on sale tomorrow, Thursday 1st December.

This year tickets can also be paid for in instalments. DKK 477.50 (approx £55), and is paid via your credit card. The first instalment is paid when ordering the ticket and the rest is automatically drawn on a credit card on 1 March, 1 April and 1 May 2012. It is possible to withdraw from your purchase until the final instalment is paid.
