The Only Ones have been confirmed for next year's Rebellion punk festival which returns to Blackpool Winter Gardens from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th August 2012.

Fronted by Peter Perrett the band who formed in the late 1970s will be bringing their songs including 'Another girl, Another Planet' to the Rebellion faithful for the first time.

Also added to the bill are Citizen Fish, the reformed Blackpool punks The Fits, Snuff, One Way System, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Sick on the Bus, Germany's The Beatlesons, Loaded 44, Dirt Box Disco, Deadline, Demob, Not Sensibles, Paul Carter, Reazione, Screama Ballerina, Septic Psychos, and The Filaments.

They join Sunday headliners Rancid, plus DOA, Zero Boys, SNFU, Agnostic Front, Slaughter & The Dogs, The Slackers, Random Hand, Menace, Rust, The Blame, Gimp Fist, New Town Kings, Monkish, Foreign Legion, UK Subs, Argy Bargy, The Boys, Hardskin, The Creepshow, The Restarts, The Grit, Runnin Riot, New Town Kings, Tyrannosaurus Alan, Sarah Blackwood, Dun 2 Def, Booze & Glory, Splodgenessabounds, Goldblade, Choking Susan, Section 5, Drongos For Europe, Fire Exit, HDQ, Pink Hearse, On Trial, TV Smith, and Bite Back.
