The full agenda for the free shows will be announced in the next 2 weeks. LMW Director Mike Deane said, "We are thrilled at the agenda we have pulled together for 2011. A sold out opening show with one of the hottest bands on the planet and a hugely ambitious closing show at one of the city's most intriguing venues. But once again, the free festival weve announced is a blinder our best to date showcasing the best new bands out there alongside the freshest talent our great city has to offer. We cant wait for this year's festival to kick off."

Liverpool Music Week is billed as the UK's largest indoor winter music festival and will be staging over 880 events and play host to over 400 live bands and runs from Friday 28th October through to Sunday 13th November.
