In just over two weeks the alternative Irish rockers will bring hits from their catalogue of 18 top 40 singles had during a career spanning 18 years including 'Girl from Mars', 'Shining Light', 'Burn Baby Burn', 'Oh Yeah' and 'Goldfinger' to the sold out event.

The booking is a special one for organisers as Ash were the first major act Beyond promoted in the Highlands ten years ago. Organisers explained, "Back in December 2001 the band came up and played two intimate shows, one in Inverness and the second here in Ullapool at The Seaforth ahead of the release of the band's most successful album 'Free all Angels'. This October sees the band go out to play some live dates to celebrate the 10th anniversary of that release."

Appearing over the weekend of Friday 16th and Saturday 17th September 2011 at Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland are Friday headliners The Feeling, plus Buzzcocks, Kassidy, Rachel Sermanni, Skerryvore, Jon Fratelli, The Bluebells, Admiral Fallow, Bombskare, PAWS, The Imagineers, Finding Albert, and The Ullapool Pipe Band.

The festival has a 2500 capacity. Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.

Tickets for this year have sold out.
