More acts have been selected by curators Battles, Caribou, and Les Savy Fav for the second festival weekend ATP Nightmare Before Christmas happening from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th December 2011 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, in Somerset.

Friday night headliners Les Savy Fav have asked American post-hardcore group Hot Snakes to reform specially for Nightmare Before Xmas. Led by Rick Froberg (Drive Like Jehu, now of Obits) and John Reis (Drive Like Jehu, Rocket From The Crypt, now of Night Marchers) the band formed in 1999 and split up in 2005. Les Savy Fav has also selected Brisbane based rockers Violent Soho, and Simian Mobile Disco (DJ Set) to join them.

Whilst joint curators Battles have picked Cults, The Field, and Matias Aguayo to join them on the bill on Saturday.

Caribou have asked American jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders who has worked with the likes of work with John Coltrane, Don Cherry, Alice Coltrane, and Sun Ra Arkestra to join them on Sunday's line-up.

The event's curators Battles, Caribou & Les Savy Fav will headline and choose a line-up of 14 artists for one day of the festival. Les Savy Fav headline Friday, Battles the Saturday, and Caribou on Sunday. Previously announced are Announced so far are Archers Of Loaf, Holy F**K, No Age, The Dodos, Marnie Stern, Wild Flag, Oxes, Surfer Blood, Total Control, Flying Lotus, Gary Numan, Bitch Magnet, Washed Out, The Psychic Paramoun, Thank You, Nisennenmondai, Walls (Live), Phil Manley's Life Coach, Dead Rider, Underground Resistance Presents Intersteller Fugitives, The Ex With Getatchew Mekurya, Junior Boys, Omar Souleyman, Factory Floor, Four Tet, Theo Parrish (4 Hour DJ Set), Toro Y Moi, and Orchestra Of Spheres. An In Between Days event running between the two December festivals will be announced in the coming weeks with discounts available for those attending both weekends and those who book early.

Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include an ATP programmed cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade.
