Five more acts have been announced for next month's sold out Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival which will take place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August 2011 at Belladrum Estate, by Beauly, in Inverness-shire.

Belladrum which sold out eight weeks in advance has added Glasgow rockers The Phantom Band, Edinburgh indie band We Were Promised Jetpacks, Sound Of Guns, Denver singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff and emerging indie act Polarsets to the line-up.

Organisers have also confirmed that BBC Alba will be providing live broadcasts from Belladrum plus highlights and interviews with coverage will also be available on BBC iPlayer.

"This is great news for those fans who missed out on tickets this year," said promoter Joe Gibbs. "Meanwhile, those who are coming to Bella will be able to get another chance to see it via BBC iPlayer and the repeats."

 In other news singer-songwriter Birdy has had to withdraw from the event due to recording commitments in the United States and the band Giant Steps have also withdrawn.

Previously confirmed acts include Scots headliners Texas, and Deacon Blue. Also announced for the event are: Guillemots, Kassidy, Echo & The Bunnymen, Frank Turner, Newton Faulkner, Ed Sheeran, Eli Paperboy Reid, Anna Calvi, Admiral Fallow, Easy Star All Stars, Teddy Thomson , Little Comets, Dry The River, MC Xander, Young Rebel Set, Roddy Woomble, 3 Daft Monkeys, Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire, Emile Sande, Ben Howard, The Amphetameanies, Lucy Rose, CW Stoneking and His Primitive Horn Orchestra, The Xcerts, Skerryvore, Saint Saviour Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Iain MacLaughlin & The Outsiders, The Raghu Dixit Project, and more. Tickets are now sold out. Tickets were priced at £90 for an adult weekend ticket which included parking and camping. Children aged 12 and under are able to attend for free.
