Thecocknbullkid, The Pipettes, and Frankmusik (DJ Set) have been added to the line-up for Macmillan's The Big Mix in East London.

The Big Mix is taking over many more venues across Shoreditch including live acts, entertainment and a fashion market at Spitalfields; Cabaret at the Brickhouse; hip hop, live art and karaoke with Le Scratch at Cargo, a Bangers and Mash party at 93 Feet East and nights curated by Tony N from creative music agency Burntprogress at Vibe Bar and Raw Power at The Macbeth.

Macmillan hope to make £40,000 from The Big Mix and all proceeds will help make the difference between a good and a bad day for people affected by cancer, through giving practical, emotional and financial support.

Already confirmed are Newton Faulkner, 6 Day Riot, Emily And The Woods, Edith Bowman (DJ set), Clare Maguire, Tim Burgess (DJ set), Treetop Flyers, Zero 7 (DJ Set), Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker (DJ Set), Kid British, Friends Electric, Yunioshi, New Town Kings, I Am Harlequin, Town, Spy Catcher, Kutmah, Om Unit, Bullion, Paul White, Alex Chase, Kelpe, Mr Beatnick, Kay Suzuki, Morgan Zarate, Soundspecies, Simbad, Mr Wonderful, Martelo, Nwachukwu, and Nightwave.

There will be two dedicated comedy venues at The Big Mix featuring the likes of Kevin Eldon, Stephen Carlin, Hannah Warman, Del Strain, Tiernan Douieb, Steve Hughes, Robert White, Helen Arney, Matt Richardson, Joel Dommett, Paul B Edwards, and Joe K.

Macmillan Cancer Support will be taking over venues in Shoreditch, East London on Saturday 18th June 2011 for its annual large scale music event – Macmillan's The Big Mix (previously the Brick Lane Takeover).

Line-up
