There's four new music additions, and more chefs added to the line-up for the The Big Festival - a new three day family friendly event held on London's Clapham Common combining food from some of the country's top chefs with a top drawer selection of live music acts, and a ticket price that includes food.

The Big Feastival takes place from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd July. Created as an urban village fete with a music festival vibe, the event offers a day out for the entire family with food included in the ticket price and all kids can go free.

Added to Friday's line-up is Saint Saviour, Trophy Wife will appear on Saturday, with Guilty Pleasures, and The Cuban Brothers added to Sunday's bill.

Acts previously confirmed for Friday are Soul II Soul with vocalist Caron Wheeler, New Young Pony Club, Norman Jay, Danny Rampling, Roots Manuva, and Ashley Beedle from X-Press 2. Saturday's acts are headed up by The Charlatans, Mystery Jets, and Kurran and the Wolfnotes. Joining Athlete on Sunday will be Guillemots and The Bees. In the coming weeks more of the line-up of DJs and acts will be revealed.

The event runs from 2pm until 10.30pm on Friday, noon until 10.30pm on Saturday, and from 10am until 8pm on Sunday.

The Big Feastival have also announced that one of Clapham's eateries, Trinity, will be making the short journey to the common to join the likes of Locanda Locatelli, The Providores, Wahaca and Cafe Spice Namaste in presenting their take on festival food.

For the first time ever, London's best restaurants and bars are coming together at The Big Feastival to offer One Big Menu from their pop-up kitchens. Featuring festival dishes created by some of the world's leading chefs, they will be unveiling the One Big Menu with a Twitter party, One Big Tweet, at 5pm on Wednesday 25th May. The chefs, including Thomasina Miers, Peter Gordon, Jonathan Downey, Theo Randall, Cyrus Todiwala, Cass Titcombe and Jamie Oliver, will be on Twitter using the hashtag #thebigfeastival to announce their dishes to the public and they'll be staying online until 5.30pm to answer any cooking questions.

The Big Feastival's Big Kitchen will play host to an array of chefs who will be presenting master classes and demonstrations, including Rachel Allen, who presents TV shows 'Rachel's Favourite Food For Living' and 'Rachel Allen: Home Cooking'.

Glamour food editor, regular guest chef for ITV's Daily Cooks Challenge and author, Jo Pratt, will be performing an exclusive baking demonstration to ensure our soufflés rise and cupcakes taste fabulous.

Plus there will be appearances from, Providores' Peter Gordon, Benares' Atul Kochhar, Theo Randall, whose restaurant at The InterContinental won 'Italian Restaurant of the Year', Market Kitchen: Big Adventure presenter Matt Tebbutt, former Claridge's head chef Mark Sargeant, Michael Caines, executive chef of Gidleigh Park; Gennaro Contaldo, who taught Jamie Oliver all about Italian cooking and Sophie Grigson, who will present a spices master class.

An early bird adult day ticket is priced at £35 and does not include any scoff tokens although food can be purchased on site. With food (5 Feastival 'scoffs') the price is £75. A child ticket (Aged 12-17*) is priced at £25 and includes 3 scoffs. A child tickets (aged 11 and under) have free entry (*the age you will be on the day of the event). A family (2 adults, and 2 children aged 12-17 years) is priced at £175 (a family receives 16 scoffs between them.

VIP Tickets (18+) are priced at £125 and also includes unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks + non-stop fantastic food at the VIP bar by Giant Robot.
