eFestivals can exclusively announce the next wave of comedians for the Comedy Tent at the tenth Summer Sundae Weekender held at De Montfort Hall, Leicester from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th August.

Jon Richardson currently on a UK tour with his new show 'It's Not Me, It's You' is a regular 'Have I Got News For You' panellist, and new team member on Channel 4's 'Stand Up For The Week'. He is also soon to become a team captain on the forthcoming series of '8 Out Of 10 Cats'.

Joining Jon on the line-up is Simon Evans who has appeared on most of the TV stand up comedy showcases and a number of topical comedy shows, including Michael McIntyre's 'Comedy Roadshow', 'The Way It Is' and 'The Comic Side of Seven Days'. Simon is a regular on Radio Four having appeared in many episodes of the 'News Quiz', 'The Unbelievable Truth', 'True Lies' and seven series as anchor and principal writer on 'The Way It Is'.

Completing the new additions is Kerry Gilbert who with her then writing partner, Kelly McGolpin, became the youngest performer at the character comedy night 'Ealing Live', working with 'Mighty Boosh' director Paul King and acclaimed stand-up John Gordillo. Over the past three years Kerry has performed regularly on the live comedy circuit as a solo act as well as as part of 'The Sketchy Collective'.

They join a comedy line-up that includes Rob Rouse, Abandoman, Gary Delaney, Pete Johansson, Sarah Kendall, Fergus Craig, Michael Fabbri, David Ward, Carly Smallman, Chris Stokes, Ola, and Andrew Ryan. The eFestivals Comedy Tent is programmed by Leicester Comedy Festival, the UK's longest running comedy festival.

This year's 'Victoriana' themed Summer Sundae Festival line-up includes headliners The Maccabees. Also confirmed are Toots and the Maytals, The Jim Jones Revue, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Teddy Thompson, Young Knives, Blood Red Shoes, The Phantom Band, Example, I Am Kloot, Showaddywaddy, McFly, Chapel Club, Reef, Shonen Knife, Graham Coxon, Newton Faulkner, The Bees, Bellowhead, The Cuban Brothers, Wilko Johnson, John Cooper Clarke, Little Comets, CW Stoneking, The Wolf People, Liam Bailey, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, The Raghu Dixit Project, Skinny Lister, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Factory Floor, The Antlers, Tom Baxter, Pete And The Pirates, Dry The River, and more. The event offers a civilised and relaxed atmosphere, an unwavering ethical standpoint, high production values, a quality range of foods from around the world, 20 cask ales and a mean line in cocktails (all reasonably priced) at four bars throughout the site, not to mention stalls, and high calibre comedy in the eFestivals Cabaret Tent.

Tickets for Summer Sundae Weekender are priced at £115. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £115. A family ticket for four (2 adults, 2 children) is priced at £322, a child (aged 5-15 years) ticket is priced at £40, and under 5s go for free. An adult day ticket is priced £30 for Friday, and £50 for Saturday or Sunday. Child (aged 5 -15 years old) are priced £12 for Friday, and £15 for Saturday or Sunday.

Camping tickets are per person, not per tent, an adult camping ticket is priced at £9, a child camping ticket is priced at £4.50, quiet or family camping £12 (Regents College), and child family camping £6 (Regents College), a camper vans and caravans ticket is priced at £35.
