'Crazy In Love' singer Beyonce, one of the best-selling artists of all time with over 75 million worldwide album sales as a solo artist alone, has been announced for Scotland's T in the Park and Ireland's Oxegen.

Beyonce's new single, 'Run The World (Girls)', is a taster from much-anticipated fourth solo album due out this summer and fans will be amongst the first to hear her new material performed live.

Beyoncé's most recent multi-platinum album, 'I am... Sasha Fierce', includes her anthem 'Single Ladies' and 'If I Were A Boy'. The album won Beyoncé six Grammy Awards, the most for any female artist in a given year, bringing her total to 16.

Oxegen's Festival Director John Probyn commented, "We're always striving to bring the biggest and best music talent to Oxegen and they really don't come any bigger than Beyonce. She is a truly incredible artist and an amazing live performer. This year we've got most of the artists headlining the UK's major festivals on one bill - it's all about giving fans real value for money and delivering an unforgettable experience."
