Eighties popstars Deacon Blue have been confirmed to appear on the main stage on Saturday at Cornbury Music Festival taking place at its new home The Great Tew Estate, at Chipping Norton.

Former Dr. Feelgood guitar legend Wilko Johnson has been added to the second stage line-up on Sunday. Also performing on that day will be '70s folk rockers and festival veterans Stackridge, who were the opening act at the first ever Glastonbury in 1970.

Representing the new talent this year are Ben Montague, Pete Lawrie, and Alice Gold, plus Birmingham's country pioneers The Toy Hearts, London rockers Saint Jude, and local heroes The Chipping Norton Allstars.

These acts are added to a bill which includes James Blunt, The Faces, and Status Quo will headline with Cyndi Lauper, Eliza Doolittle, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Bellowhead, Ray Davies, Imelda May, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Like, Olly Murs, The Saw Doctors, and John Allen. Sunday afternoon's line-up will also feature the new secret slot. It's going to be a very welcome appearance by a legendary band - but they can't be announced until they take to the stage.
