Chase & Status, and The Streets have been announced as headliners for the inaugural We The People festival taking place on Bristol Harbour in early June.

A collection of national promoters have joined forces with the Bristol club and live music scene bring this new event to the city. The first We The People festival takes place on Bristol's harbourside on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June 2011.

With a 10,000 capacity each day and three music arenas, We The People have announced that Chase & Status are confirmed to headline the Saturday with their mix of dubstep, grime and drum n' bass. Mike Skinner has announced he is officially retiring The Streets this year and We The People have secured one of his farewell shows for the Sunday headline slot. There are no other acts confirmed yet, more acts are expected to be announced shortly.
