Fatboy Slim has been announced as headliner for Relentless Boardmasters which takes place over five days this year from Wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th August at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, in Cornwall.

Fatboy Slim
Fatboy Slim headlines on Saturday 13th August. The "Right here, right now!" pioneer of Big Beat, will make the Cornish Coastline pump as Boardmasters celebrates the 30th year anniversary of surfing at the event.

Fatboy Slim is the first act to be announced. The full Main Stage line-up to be announced shortly along with line-ups across other nine stages.

The Relentless Boardmasters is held on three sites across Newquay offering action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

As a celebration of 30 years of surfing at Fistral Beach the event has upgraded its Men's ASP surf event to a 6 star event which will bring the best up and coming surfers on the planet. The date change also means the event no longer clashes with other high profile events across the World.

In a move to represent all aspects of surfing the Relentless Boardmasters will introduce longboarding in the shape of a 3 Star Men's ASP event and 6 Star Ladies ASP event.

The event will commence Wednesday 10th August at the Fistral Site with the opening party and the first Beach Session. The trade village will not be open that day. The trade village including the Beach Bar will open Thursday 11th August until Sunday 14th August.

Elsewhere at Fistral is the trade village and a beach bar serving up pints looking over all the action on and around the beach. As evening sets in the bar rearranges itself into a live music venue in the shape of the Beach Sessions.

Early bird 'dawn patrol' tickets have sold out. General sale tickets go on sale on Monday 7th March, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. An adult weekend ticket for both days will be priced at £65, and £85 with camping. Adult day tickets for Friday or Saturday will be priced at £36. An adult Beach sessions ticket will be priced at £15 for any one day.
