Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been announced as the special guest on Erasure's 'Total Pop!' tour, a series of dates for summer 2011 playing their hits as part of a series of dates in spectacular woodland locations as part of The Forestry Commission's 2011 Forest Tours.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has become established as a multi-platinum selling artist over the past decade, with singles successes like 'Take Me Home (A Girl Like Me)', 'Mixed Up World', 'Get Over You / Move This Mountain' and her signature '‘Murder on the Dancefloor'. Her latest single, 'Not Giving Up On Love' from the forthcoming album, 'Make A Scene', is due for release on 14th March.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be joining Erasure on the following dates:

Fri 10 June Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk.
Sat 11 June Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Nr Goudhurst, Kent.
Fri 17 June Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nr Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire.
Sat 18 June Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Fri 24 June Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffordshire.
Sat 25 June Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, North Yorks.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor will not be appearing in Delamere Forest when Erusure appear on Friday 1st July.

The Forestry Commission is committed to taking woodlands to new audiences, and making them relevant to people in new ways. The forest tour is self-sustaining, paying for itself, and providing valuable revenue to plough back into the woodland in a variety of environmental and social projects.
