The first acts have been announced for the Bassline Circus Dance Stage at Boomtown Fair which takes place at a secret location, less than 1 hour from London over the weekend of Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th August 2011.

BoomTown Fair has unveiled the first of the acts to grace the Bassline Circus Dance Stage, they are DJ Zinc, Redlight & MC Dread, Ms Dynamite, Toddla T & MC Serocee, The Bug & Flow Dan, High Rankin, JFB b2b Ed Solo, Warrior One, RackNRuin, Emalkay, The Ratpack, Pyramid (aka Kenmac), Tayo, The Squire Of Gothos, Koan Sound, and The McMash Clan.

Plus two of Europe's biggest bass heavy acts will be confirmed as headliners for Saturday and Sunday, they will be announced soon.

There's also a few more new additions to the line-up with 3 Daft Monkeys, The Baghdaddies, The Mandibles, Drunken Balordi, Ed Cox, Tragic Roundabout, Gypsy Unit, Los Albertos, The JB Conspiracy, King Porter Stomp, Scubaroots, and TrueBeat all confirmed for the Invisible Circus Stage.

Confirmed for the Devil Kicks Dance Hall are Demented Are Go, Random Hand, Citizen Fish, The Caravans, The Long Tall Texans, Frantic Flintstones, Koffin Kats, The Zen Hussies, The Cheaterslicks, Sicknote, Jack Rabbit Slim, Rudi La Crioux and the All Stars.

Now in its fifth year the festival will offer an array of music, theatre, comedy and art. Last year's event sold out, and acts already confirmed include The Selector, The Toasters, Goldie Lookin Chain, Tippa Irie, and more. For the line-up details as available please click here.

This year also sees Boomtown open for the first time opening its gates on a Thursday for festival goers to get their Boomtown bearings whilst enjoying a light sprinkling of musical entertainment in a selection of the smaller venues on the outskirts of the town.

Early bird ticket offers have ended. A weekend ticket is priced at £93 for four days with camping. An adult full price deposit ticket is priced at £47 - the balance must be paid in full before 31st July. A teen 4 day weekend ticket (ages 13 - 17 inc) is priced at £50.0 To buy tickets, click here.

The main stage line-up will consist of ska and party bands from around the world, with the other live music stages offering cabaret, gypsy, folk, reggae, dub and country and western. Plus loads of cabaret, comedy, spoken word, a range of stages, an anarchist theatre, lots of site art and many areas to explore with plenty of catering options, all the normal facilities you'd expect at a festival and a massive emphasis on eco-friendly initiatives.
