Beirut to headline End Of The Road

plus eight more acts announced

Beirut have been confirmed as the first headliners for End Of The Road.

Beirut whose new album will be released this year, will appear as a headliner at the End of the Road Festival. Also confirmed today are Cass McCombs, Gruff Rhys, James Yorkston, and Joan As Policewoman.

Other new additions for the bill are Perfume Genius, Timber Timbre, Tune-Yards, and Wooden Shjips who will all be appearing over the weekend of Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September 2011 at The Larmer Tree Gardens, North Dorset.

Previously confirmed for Dorset bash are The Fall, Wild Beasts, Willy Mason, The Walkmen, Micah P. Hinson, Bo Ningen, Bob Log III, Doug Paisley, Dry The River, Gordon Gano and The Ryan Brothers, John Grant, Jolie Holland, The Deadly Syndrome, Twin Shadow, Woods, Young Man, Mountain Man, Treefight for Sunlight, Lightning Dust, Josh T Pearson, La Sera, Lanterns on the Lake, and Midlake who will make their only UK festival exclusive appearance at next year's End Of The Road.

Tickets are priced at £145 for adults. A youth (ages 13-17 years who must be accompanied by an adult) ticket is priced at £120, a ticket for children aged 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) is priced at £55, with free entry for a child aged 0 - 5 years, they still need tickets can be purchased in advance. Tickets for a campervan/caravan pass are priced at £50, a car parking is priced at £TBC (payable in cash on arrival).

The End of the Road Festival has 4 music stages, a cinema tent, comedy, workshops (for both adults & children), a healing field, art installations, literature talks, a hidden library and piano in the woods, a games area with table tennis, skittles, table football and more.
