Outkast's Big Boi joins Animal Collective curated ATP

plus Micachu and the Shapes, Atlas Sound, and more

Big Boi, the rapper from hip hop duo OutKast, leads the latest acts confirmed for the Animal Collective curated All Tomorrows Parties in 2011 happening from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th May at Butlins Resort, Minehead, in Somerset.

Big Boi tops a host of new additions confirmed as Terry Riley, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Atlas Sound, Micachu and the Shapes, The Entrance Band, Orthrelm (Mick Barr), Tickley Feather, Drawlings, Teengirl Fantasy, Kria Brekkan, and Eric Copeland (Black Dice).

Animal Collective are climbing into the hot seat at Butlins where they will headline and curate, choosing from amongst their collaborators and influences to bring together an eclectic and mind-expanding mixture of live music. They have already picked Gang Gang Dance, Lee Scratch Perry, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Broadcast, Black Dice, Meat Puppets (performing Up On The Sun), The Frogs (performing It's Only Right & Natural), I.U.D., Omar-S, Prince Rama, Spectrum, Dent May, Group Doueh, The Brothers Unconnected, Sublime Frequencies DJs + Films, Deradoorian, Zomby, and Vladislav Delay to play this May.

Tickets are priced at £170 (based on 4 people sharing) and a self catering room ticket is £180. To buy tickets, click here.

ATP will again be running a deposit scheme for tickets. This will offer a limited number of 4 berth apartments, both room-only and self-catering to be paid for with a deposit upfront, and the remaining amount to be paid by the end of January 2011. Both come with a booking fee of £7.50 per person (£30 per apartment). These apartments will be sold at full price; £165 per person room only or £175 per person self catered.

People who would like to hold a 4 berth room only, must pay a deposit of £65 per person, (£260 for the apartment). The remaining £107.50pp (£430 for the apartment) must be paid by Sunday 30th January 2011.

All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon, with around 40 acts set to play live across the weekend. There are four pubs and DJ sets through till late.

Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include an ATP programmed cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.
