tickets on sale today for The Courteeners' summer forest gig

Tickets go on sale from 9am today for The Courteeners' special trip to the woods this summer when they will be appearing at Delamere Forest, in Cheshire. The concert will be a local show for the band as part of Forestry Commission Live Music 2011.

The Courteeners released earlier this year their second top 10 album 'Falcon' and this month they have released a new digital EP, 'Electric Lick'. The 5 track EP features two songs gleaned from the gold-selling 'Falcon', plus two never-before-released cuts and a cover version of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 'Zero'. The band have just completed a sell-out UK tour for December including 16,000 fans ramming Manchester's MEN Arena.

Forestry Commission Live Music provides valuable revenue that is reinvested in a variety of Forestry Commission environmental and social projects across the country.

The Courteeners will be performing the show on Saturday 2nd July, tickets are priced at £25.
