Tickets go on sale from 9am today for Erasure's 'Total Pop!' tour, a series of dates for summer 2011 playing their hits as part of a series of dates in spectacular woodland locations as part of The Forestry Commission's 2011 Forest Tours.

The 'Total Pop! Tour' will coincide with the release of Erasure's brand new album, planned for release in summer 2011. Commenting on the tour, Erasure's Andy Bell said, 'This wonderful opportunity to perform for the fans in such a unique backdrop feels like just the right way to jump back in to Erasure after a four year break. We're excited to be playing in the woods and really hope it doesn't rain."

Fri 10 June Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk.
Sat 11 June Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Nr Goudhurst, Kent.
Fri 17 June Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nr Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire.
Sat 18 June Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Fri 24 June Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffordshire.
Sat 25 June Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, North Yorks.
Fri 1 July Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire.

The Forestry Commission is committed to taking woodlands to new audiences, and making them relevant to people in new ways. The forest tour is self-sustaining, paying for itself, and providing valuable revenue to plough back into the woodland in a variety of environmental and social projects.
