Horace Andy and Dub Asante Band, and DJ Yoda lead the first acts confirmed on the line-up for this May's Knockengorroch World Ceilidh.

Horace Andy and Dub Asante Band, and DJ Yoda lead a line-up that includes Salsa Celtica, The Bad Shepherds, Lau, The Demon Barbers, Russkaja, and The Future Trad Collective featuring Michael McGoldrick.

Also announced today are Aberfeldy, Found, Hidden Orchestra, Bombskare, Mim Suleiman, Gol, Horndogs, The Banana Sessions, Bajaly Suso, Mungo's Hi Fi Sound System, NorthernXposure, .

The four day Galloway valley festival held from Thursday 26th until Sunday 29th May 2011 at Knockengorroch Farm, Kirkubrightshire, in Scotland will also play host to Niteworks, Stagger Rats, Captain Slackship's Mezzanine Allstars, Asazi Space Funk Explosion, The Manic Shine, Astroboy, Anonymi, and The Ghost of Joe Seal.

Early bird adult tickets (available until 2nd January 2011) are priced at £82 for 4 days, £67 for 3 days; Children tickets (11-15 years) are priced at £38 for 4 days, £33 for 3 days. Vehicle passes: (up to 1 tonne) £12, vehicle pass (1-3 Tonnes) £17 (including caravans towed by car/van), vehicle pass (over 3 Tonnes) £22.

The event caters for all with a children's area, family and disabled camping and special family rates on tickets. A bus will run from Glasgow and Edinburgh to the site on Thursday, avoiding the need to drive.
