Foo Fighters have been confirmed as the first act for Portugal's Optimus Alive 2011.

The Foo Fighters will headline on Thursday 7th July at Optimus Alive'11. The Music and Arts festival, Optimus Alive!11, takes place in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, between Thursday 7th and Saturday 9th of July, with bands starting at 5pm each day.

With the Tagus River as landscape to explore the festival has arts, cafes, restaurants, as well as music on offer. There will be camping available at Alive Festival priced at around 15 euros for the 3 days, there are also plenty of other accommodation options in the city and festival goers are recommended to book accommodation in Lisbon early.
