Foo Fighters have been announced as headliners at next year's T in the Park.

Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters will rock the eighteenth T in the Park which returns to Balado in 2011 from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July.

Revealing the first details of their seventh studio album, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said, "I want to play the album at night live in front of (tens of thousands of) people. It's a festival album because it f**king rocks!"

Grohl will do exactly that as the Foo Fighters return for their third time time to next year's T in the Park, debuting new material from their forthcoming seventh album alongside anthems from their catalogue including the likes of 'The Pretender', 'Best of You', 'All My Life', 'Learn To Fly', 'Everlong' and more.

Festival Director Geoff Ellis said, "Once again we are proud to bring one of the world's biggest and most influential rock bands to Balado. As well as being a personal favourite and a band that T in the Park fans continually praise, Foo Fighters are one of the best festival headliners on the planet and I'm delighted we have them for T in the Park 2011."

Early bird tickets for T in the Park 2011 are priced as follows:
