Also joining the bill on Sunday from British folk's great dynasty are Norma Waterson and Eliza Carthy with The Gift Band. The Gift is Norma and Eliza's first duo release. Norma and Eliza will be touring as a six piece band including Martin Carthy. They will be performing traditional classics as well as some unexpected gems.
They join the previously confirmed Ian Anderson who will be playing Jethro Tull in the Sunday night headline slot, with The Wurzels also confirmed for that day, with Neville Staple appearing on Saturday afternoon.
As always, Wychwood is a festival of not only music, but crammed full of other things to see and do, from comedy to cinema, and from workshops to the healing gardens. A number of special things are lined up for 2011 including the return of The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and the Children's Lit Fest with children's books author Jeremy Strong and illustrator Korky Paul already confirmed.
The festival returns for the seventh year to Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June and has a limited number of early bird tickets on sale for 2011, offering festival goers a chance to save up to £25 on weekend camping tickets. The limited offer will run until Friday 17th December or before if the allocation runs out.
