Morbid Angel will be special guests at Bloodstock

making an exclusive festival appearance

American death metallers Morbid Angel have been confirmed as Sunday special guests at next year's Bloodstock.

Morbid Angel will be the making their only UK appearance of 2011 as special guests, appearing on the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Sunday. The seminal band who feature the core trio of lead vocalist and bassist David Vincent, guitarist Trey Azagthoth, and drummer Pete Sandoval are currently working on their new full-length album, which is due for release in late 2010 or early 2011.

The metallers will be making an exclusive festival appearance to Bloodstock Open Air joining the previously announced Immortal, Rhapsody Of Fire and Triptykon on the line-up appearing over the weekend of Friday 12th until Sunday 14th August 2011 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Early bird tickets are on sale priced at £95 for adults, and £10 for a car parking pass. As of 15th December 2010 All Bloodstock festival tickets will increase in Price. Day tickets, and child tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date.
