The final acts have just been announced for this year's Supersonic Festival taking place from Friday 22nd to Saturday 14th of October 2010 at The Custard Factory, in Birmingham.

The festival which offers new and emergent talent alongside established and international acts has confirmed that Chrome Hoof, Ruins, Dethscalator, Daniel O'Sullivan's new project Mothlite.

Also, a special AV set from Barn Owl, Health & Efficiency, Steve Tromans & Dan Nicholls Duo, and Black Sun Drum Corps will be presenting a percussion parade through the festival, which will combine Supersonic Festival performers and audience members.

The line-up includes headliners Swans, Michael Rother's supergroup Hallogallo 2010, and Godflesh playing their first UK show in over 10 years. They are joined by King Midas Sound, Nicholas Bullen, Zeni Geva, Cloaks (exclusive solo DJ set), Devilman aka DJ Scotch Egg and Dokkebi Q, Tweak Bird, Cave, OvO, Blue Sabbath Black Fiji, Napalm Death, People Like Us, Demons (with Sick Llama), Necro Deathmort, Lichens, Gnaw, Jailbreak, Bong, Melt Banana, and many more.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £75 for a weekend ticket. Day tickets are also available priced at £20 for Friday, and £35 for Saturday or Sunday. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival offers new and emergent talent alongside established and international acts. Whilst the focus is on experimental music, Supersonic acts as an umbrella for creative practice in any media or art form. The event will utilise the venue's many rooms for music, art and film.
