early bird tickets for Wychwood 2011 on sale now

Early birds tickets are on sale now for the family-friendly, Wychwood Festival which returns to the compact site at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June for the seventh year.

The festival have put a limited number of early bird tickets on sale for 2011, offering festival goers a chance to save up to £25 on weekend camping tickets. The limited offer will run until Friday 17th December or before if the allocation runs out. Wychwood was close to sell out in 2010, and already over 1000 people including kids have signed up to come to 2011 from the sales at the festival.

Early bird adult weekend tickets are priced at £100 (full price £115), weekend disabled (2 for 1) tickets are priced at £100 (full price £115), youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £82 (full price £95), and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £45 (full price £55).

Part of the limited offer includes children aged 5-9 years able to attend for free, but need to be accompanied by a grown up (full price £15) and those under 5 can attend for free.

Camping

General camping passes (charged per person) are also discounted for the limited period offering an adult weekend/disabled camping ticket for £10 (full price £20), a weekend youth/concession camping pass is priced at £5 (full price £10), with those aged under 16s able to camp with grown ups for free.

Campervan field

Festival organisers have done away with campervan passes but are charging a little more for folks who stay in that field. Weekend live in vehicle camping (per person) is priced at £20 (full price £35) per adult, the same priced offer is available for disabled adults with their carers. Weekend youth/concession camping is priced at £10 (full price £25).

Each year Wychwood boasts more than 100 bands over 4 stages blending a line-up of world, roots and contemporary music, and encouraging new collaborations. The first acts for 2011 are expected to be announced from October onwards.

Wychwood is a festival not only of music, but crammed full of other things for the 7,500 attendees to see and do, from comedy to cinema, and from workshops to the healing gardens. They already have a number of special things lined up for 2011.
