Joining the Saturday night headliners, The Magic Numbers, on the bill is Universal-Island signing Clare Maguire, and 18 year old Carly Connor from Easterhouse in Glasgow who recently signed to Atlantic Records and is set to release her debut album in 2011.

Robert Hicks the festival's Director said, "We're over the moon to have The Magic Numbers come and play Loopallu, and continue what has been a great relationship with the band and the Highlands over the years. They're going to provide the perfect finale to this years festival. We're also very excited to have added two young ladies destined for stardom in the form of Clare McGuire and Carly Connor. Just remember where you saw them first!"

They join the previously announced Idlewild, Turin Brakes, Mt. Desolation, Aberfeldy, Skerryvore, The Bad Shepherds, The Vatersay Boys, and Silver Columns, at this small intimate festival which is geared towards entertaining the local community. The Friday headliner is still to be announced.

The festival returns for its sixth outing this September and has a 2500 capacity. Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.

Early bird tickets for the festival are on sale, priced at £55 without camping, or £70 with weekend camping, and caravan tickets are priced at £25. Under-12s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
