Mark Lanegan leads the latest acts to be added to this year's Edge Festival which replaced T on the Fringe and takes place annually in Edinburgh.

Mark Lanegan will be joined by a host of Scottish acts at this year's festival, Edinburgh's antifolk stars Withered Hand and indie-pop singer/songwriter Alex Cornish line up alongside Carrie Mac, and Glaswegian experimental popsters Mitchell Museum.

Art-rockers Found will also be performing at The Edge, while The Boy Who Trapped The Sun and Dot Allison will support Phoenix and Doves respectively.

This year marks the 11th anniversary of a dedicated popular music programme at the Edinburgh Festival, and takes place across various venues from Thursday 5th until Tuesday 31st August 2010, and will feature fifty performances over the festival period including the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Mika and Plan B.
