Vampire Weekend, and Broken Bells appearance at the opening night of Cornwall's Eden Sessions has been cancelled.

Vampire Weekend were due to headline the Eden Project stage on the first show of the year on Thursday 24th June. They were due to be joined on the bill by special guests Broken Bells.

Eden Sessions website makes the following statement:

"Vampire Weekend Session Cancelled:

We're terribly sorry, but regretfully we have to announce that Vampire Weekend's appearance at this year's Eden Sessions has been cancelled. We will of course refund everyone who bought tickets to this Session.

To arrange your refund please contact the box office on 01726 811972. The closing date for refunds is Thursday 24th June. No refunds will be given after this date.."

Tickets were priced at £35.

The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. Massage and alternative therapies will also be showcased around Eden on the day of each Session.
